B-Rent provides its customers with complete 24-hour roadside assistance. In the event of an accident or a breakdown, prompt assistance will be provided. The customer is obliged to draw up a declaration describing the dynamics of the accident. In addition, together with the other person involved in the car accident, it is necessary to draw up the CID form that is on board the car. Otherwise, the customer will be held responsible for the cost of repairing the damage caused to the rental vehicle. Carefully read the rental conditions and any other instructions given at the time of picking up the car. The price of the main parts of the car is on our website b-rent under the damage enhancement table entry, so that any small damages can be settled immediately upon return of the vehicle.
If the car keys should be lost, you should contact the car pick-up office immediately. B-Rent will send you the replacement keys as soon as possible. You will be charged a supplementary fee as indicated in the rental agreement.
In case of vehicle immobilisation not attributable to the responsibility of the driver or in case of accident, B-Rent undertakes to rescue and tow the vehicle and then to provide a replacement vehicle through its own network or that of its partners as soon as possible to ensure the mobility service.
In case of theft of the vehicle, the first thing to do is to call the local police and then the rental office, which must then be provided with the report of loss of keys or theft of the vehicle made at the police station. For more detailed information, we recommend you to consult the general rental conditions B-Rent. The financial responsibility of the customer will depend on the coverage purchased at the time of the rental contract.
All our vehicles are equipped with a spare wheel or inflation kit. The user will have to replace or repair the vehicle himself, which will allow him to continue to the nearest B-Rent location to replace the vehicle. In case of impossibility to go to one of our offices, the customer can replace the tire at a workshop indicated by the customer service by always holding the receipt/invoice to the B-Rent (company data on the rental contract).
In the case of excursions or trips to particularly cold climate zones, it is mandatory to fill the tank with antifreeze liquid, and to add it every time you refuel.
In case of freezing of the fuel, it is necessary to wait for the hottest hours of the day and only then you can try to restart the engine. Alternatively you can try to keep the car in a closed place, not in contact with the external frost. Once the car is restarted, antifreeze fluid must be added to the fuel tank.
Our vehicles are authorized to rent only after having passed all the preventive checks. During the rental period, and on the basis of the kilometres travelled, routine checks (oil level, tyre pressure, antifreeze fluid...) must be carried out according to reasonable and prudent use. It is essential to pay attention to the warning lights on the dashboard and take all necessary protective measures. For more detailed information, we recommend consult the General Rental Conditions B-Rent.
B-Rent can allow you to cross national borders. It is mandatory to return the vehicle to one of the B-Rent rental offices in Italy. Check the pages dedicated to the general rental conditions. For trips where it is necessary to cross the sea, the host State may require a specific written authorization. Ask the rental agency at the time of booking.
ALWAYS RESPECT THE SPEED LIMIT: if you pass it you risk the immediate withdrawal of your driving licence. If you leave the country without paying the fine will be sent a notification to the holder of the rental contract. It is important to always look at the signals indicating the speed limit. It is useful to keep in mind that in Italy the speed limits are indicated in kilometres per hour, and not in miles .... IT IS FORBIDDEN TO DRIVE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL: ALWAYS WEAR A SEAT BELT IS MANDATORY. In addition, it is forbidden to seat children in the front passenger seat of a running vehicle. We recommend OUR CUSTOMERS TO PARK ONLY WHERE IT IS PERMITTED: in larger cities the zones where it is possible to park are generally indicated as "blue zones" those for short stops (from one hour to an hour and a half) and "green zones" those for longer stops, while in "red zones" parking is forbidden. Some cities have installed parking meters, so it is always advisable to check for the presence of a parking meter and to pay the expected fee.
