One of the most famous works of the Brazilian architect Niemeyer in Europe is The Mondadori Palace in Milan Segrate. Oskar Niemeyer follows the Idea of an Innovative Architectonic work, not only for the shapes and Structures but also for the way of living life; he wants to create an open space where people can communicate and living in armony. Giorgio Mondadori’s instincts and the Niemeyer’s Idea comes to realising a courageous inter-cultural project for that time. The compound is made up of Three Elements: five floors suspended from the central parallelepipedo with the features arches hosting the office and the editors, opposing to them there are two lower and sinuous bodies that comes from a truly outstanding expanse of water. The reservoir of 20 thousand square feets makes the Structure more suggestive. A huge park surrounds the palace.
The Forlanini’s park Idea comes out during the immediate post-war era when there was an age dreamed of a seaplane base like a huge park for the sporting activity. Owing to its vast area between the railway and the seaplane base with the Lambro Lake in the center has been earmarked for the green and sports. The area extends from the City of Milan, Segrate and Pescheria Borromeo. At the end of January 3 millions of euros have been collocated for the Great Project Forlanini: the surface has been doubled with new cycle and pedestrian path (Tucidide/Corelli streets-Forlanini street- Cavriana street-Lake Lambro).
